How financing works ↗Straight answers.
Where are KONO floors actually made?
We say it plainly: European oak décor, Austrian-engineered HDF cores, precision milling in Asia — on production runs made exclusively for KONO. Every box carries its mill region, production date, and lot number, and we will show you the factory audit on request.
Is KONO laminate really waterproof?
The surface is waterproof and we filmed a 72-hour immersion test to prove it. Standing water at the seams for days is a different story, which is why we say "surface-waterproof" and recommend LVP for full baths.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Every installer is a KONO employee, background-checked and trained on our own product. That is how we can put labor and product under one lifetime warranty.
What does installation cost?
Installed laminate runs $5.99 to $8.49 per sqft, materials and labor together, and most homes land near $6.79 — underlayment and standard trim included. Demolition, subfloor prep, and furniture moving are quoted line by line before work starts. See every published price →
Can I install it myself?
Yes. The Uniclic® click system is DIY-friendly, and we will lend you the tapping block and pull bar with your order. Keep one spare box for future repairs; the box calculator adds it for you.
